Brain Imaging- and Machine-Learning-based Disease Diagnosis and Prognosis
Infant Brain Imaging Analysis and Brain Network Modeling for Early Development Study
We seek several highly motivated postdoctoral fellows on brain imaging- and machine learning-based brain disease diagnosis and prognosis towards individualized precision medicine based on multiple R01 projects, as well as on infant brain imaging analysis and network modeling for characterizing brain development in the first 6 years of life based on Baby Connectome Project (BCP), a $4 million NIH grant.
We welcome all applicant with background in cognitive neuroscience, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, computer science, automation engineering, applied mathematics/statistics, electrical engineering, automated control, signal/image processing and or other related fields. We especially encourage those with a multidisciplinary background and eager to develop advanced brain network modeling and functional MRI processing methods and those who want to develop or apply our state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms (including deep learning) to the clinical field. Long-term postdoctoral researchers or those who are motivated to establish an academic career in the United States are greatly welcomed. Candidates are required to have a doctorate in above fields, and have solid experience in MRI/fMRI processing, or brain network analysis, or clinical neuroscience application. A good publication track or strong programming skills are highly preferred.
